Welcome to my webpage. You will be able to find information on my published books and links to where you can purchase them. I may also provide information on current projects to give you a sneak peak at future books.
I was born in a mountain cabin west of Tilamook. Younger, by 5 minutes, from my brother Franklin and I have always followed his brotherly advice (just ask him sometime.) After high school, I worked in machine shops, learning to work with my hands and find solutions. Towards the end of this career, I started writing technical manuals and found joy in putting words on paper. I always looked up to my brother for his writing and, after a messy divorce, moved in with him in a home we purchased in Verndale. For my first story, “A Forever Home”, I drew from the recollections of a blind friend’s time living at a boarding school for the blind. I am drawn to the stories of people who find strength in overcoming obstacles and am working on another novel that will include more of those stories. I hope you will enjoy reading my stories.
You might also enjoy stories from my twin brother Franklin Grove.
My web person is busy recreating this website after some recent problems so this is just a quick list of books and how you can find them. Check back periodically to see what we come up with.

SECOND CHANCE ISLAND – available on Amazon
Eric was whisked away in the night, taken on a boat by a man who looked like Sasquatch, dropped off on a rocky island and left. He thought his world had been turned upside down when his dad left, but now he couldn’t even describe his condition.
Reece watched as his nephew walked up the dock. It was obvious that he was angry, swearing, and probably afraid. He also knew from George’s call that Eric would be hungry since his dinner was now feeding the fish.
Would this island work the magic on Eric as it had on so many before him? Reece hoped so. It was so many years coming to meet his nephew and now it was going to happen under hard conditions, but that was kind of what Second ChanceIsland was all about.
